‘Weed’ seller beaten to death for allegedly failing to render sales to his boss

A 30-year-old man was brutally killed in Sefwi Ahibenso in the Bodi District of the Western North Region. According to reports, Kwadwo Afful, who sold cannabis, had not paid the person who had given him the drug to sell.

A recent Adom News report uncovered a chilling incident in which a group of men surrounded the deceased and brutally attacked him, leaving his lifeless body on the street in Ahibenso.

Confirming the sad incident to Adom News, the grandfather of Kwadwo Afful, Daniel Kwasi Tawiah explained that he saw a crowd on the street and he proceeded to check what it was about only to find out what had happened to his grandchild.

Tawiah reported the incident to the police of Bodi right away, and they took the body of his grandchild to the Juaboso Government Hospital morgue to be examined.

A resident, who spoke to AdomNews, appealed to the police to arrest the suspects and help bring justice to the family. 

He stated that the apprehension and following reprimand of the perpetrators will have a moderating effect on illegal behavior in the vicinity. The individuals in question are still evading capture.
